OKCupid Question: HIV

OKCupid question: Would you ever date someone that is HIV...?  Variants to this question include all classes of people: would you date a black person? a person of the same-sex? a personal much older than you?

Responses:

a. "Wow that one is a hard one"
b. "Hell NO!"
... and my favorite ...
c. "Might be fun to date them but there isn't much point in giving them a commitment and you will need to move on afterwards"

WTF?  Are these HIV peoples human?  My response:

Yes. And I'm neg.

Here's the deal: people want to know for certainty too many things.  Hmmm, what do all those ever-certain statistics in newspapers tell us??

1. hiv+ means you have a probability that the relationship will end sooner than later.
2. hiv+/- means you have a probability that the relationship will end tomorrow -- when they're hit by a bus.
3. hiv- means you have a probability that the relationship will end when someone is around 70yrs old.

We all die. Accept that. Depending on your beliefs/faith/path, you could live with your hiv partner after death. Or not. Such is uncertainty.

Are you nay-sayers implying that one purpose of a relationship is to maximize the quantity of time together?  To what end?  Death, obviously.  But it will be a happy life filled with your loving, hiv- person.  Hmm, yes it would because they are pure, moral and good.

I place this one warning upon myself: where I discriminate, then I am discriminated.  Yin-yang; "Judge not, lest ye be judged" does not limit choice, it merely initiates a chain of responsiblity for our choices.  Whenever someone falls in love with me but I reject them, then I will fall in love with someone but they will reject me.
